Sometimes, I look around and can’t believe God really wants to use me. Does that happen to you? I have turned my back on the Lord and He still wants to use me. Or rather not I turned away from Him but I walked lightly with Him instead of walking fully and faithfully. I doubted. I argued. I whimpered. I screamed. I cried. I even sometimes asked why. But, nevertheless, I never left my Father’s care; I never took my hand out of His. I just sorta missed it; missed Him; missed my calling.
And, guess what. He still calls me to Him. He still requires me to work for Him. He still loves me to Him. And, He still calls me into service for Him. It is truly amazing; a miracle in today’s world because I know who I’ve been. But, God does too and He still calls me and wants to use me. Wow!
Thank you Lord for being the God of a siesta. Thank you Lord for being the God of a temper tantrum. Thank you Lord for being my God, Savior, Redeemer.
So, I will continue to follow Him. Will you?
